View From the Guest House

This is a painting I did this weekend at South Dartmouth.  Denise and I were invited to spend the weekend in the most beautiful house I have ever seen.  We stayed in the guest house.  Because of Hurricane Danny we were forced to stay inside most of the time.  This is a view from the living room and it is almost exactly as I saw it.  I did use my viewfinder and subracted a dock leading off to the right.  I didn't think it helped the composition.  Anyway, I left this watercolor as a gift for our hosts and I am sure they will hang it in their Florida home as a reminder of South Dartmouth, Hurricane Danny and hopefully us.
