3 Hart Place

Here is a colored pencil drawing of my Sister Patty's steps and front door I did this morning.  This is going to be used as an invitation so I wanted to use warm, festive colors and reinforce the address 3 Hart Place.  I hope she likes it.  I don't use colored pencil much but always enjoy it when I do.  It allows the same build up as pencil with the excitement of watercolor.  It takes time but I love the blends of colors you can experiment with.
