Beach Hut

This is a greeting card I did today using acrylic paint.  Acrylic is sure a lot easier to use than watercolor.  It has the coverage and forgiveness of oil without the smells or cleanup problems.  I think I found a medium that suits my temperment.  I don't think the results are as beautiful as classic watercolor but it's ideal for small studies like this one.  I saw this hut in Hollywood the other day while visiting my brother.  I loved the colors and the view of the ocean through the open window.  I am happy with my interpretation.
