Impression of Public Garden in the Rain
Monday, June 27, 2011
I got rained out halfway through this painting but I rushed home and completed it from memory. I got lots of compliments about the color choices for this painting. As I told a friend on Facebook, rainy days bring out all sorts of colorful umbrellas and slickers. Add to that the riot of colorful flowers in the Public Garden, a black saxophonist wearing a bright orange t-shirt and a bright colorful scene is crying out to be painted in watercolor.
