Lost in the woods

This was an experiment using masking tape to save some white edges.  Bright sunshine leads to sharp shadows, crisp whites and bright colors.  Nice balance between cool and warm, light and dark, thin and thick. I am very happy with this watercolor.  It will be another good painting exercise for my students this week.
